Hmong Elders Program
The Hmong Association of Washington (HAW) is proud to sponsor a special program for our Hmong elders, ages 55 and older. This program creates a welcoming space for elders to connect, share stories, and enjoy time together while promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.
Monthly Gatherings in 2025
We’ll meet once a month throughout 2025. Depending on the meeting time, a meal will be provided — breakfast, lunch, or dinner — along with fun activities designed to entertain and engage. Want to volunteer? Contact Ma Cha.
Family Participation Encouraged
We invite and encourage family members to bring their elders to as many gatherings as possible. Regular social interaction is an important way to support both mental and physical health, and it can help prevent feelings of loneliness or depression.
How to Join Us
If you’re interested in attending, please RSVP by email, phone, or text so we can plan meals accordingly. When responding by email or text, please include “Hmong Elders Program” along with the elder’s name(s).
Even if you forget to RSVP, walk-ins are always welcome.
